" A humorous and creative "insult generator" with a
different twist. A single keystroke switches from
insults to compliments! Phrases are randomly generated
based on your vivid vocabulary! You control the
contents, so the program can be used to generate
descriptive phrases on any subject. Version 1.0
requires: DOS 2.0 or later, 360k.

" GALAXY is a fast, RAM-based word processor that offers a
wealth of features designed to make the program powerful
yet extremely easy to learn and use. GALAXY offers users
a choice of using menus or quick keyboard commands for
all of the major program functions. With GALAXY you're
never stuck with a cumbersome menu system for commands
you already know, and you're never stuck with a
confusing command based system for commands you use less
often.
"
Galaxy's file formats are very "clean". Although it
deserves it's Word Processor status, Galaxy can also
double as an all-purpose Text Editor. Extremely easy to
use.

" MB.EXE is a program which when run with an argument on
the command line, from either the DOS prompt or within a
batch file, performs the operations specified by that
argument. For example, by typing or placing this line in
a batch file or on the command line:
MB BOX/1/1/12/80/1/112
MicroMacroBat will perform the operation specified by
the argument BOX/1/1/12/80/1/112. The argument tells
MicroMacroBat to place a BOX with the upper left corner
at row 1, column 1, the lower right corner at row 12,
column 80, use the single line box character and make
the color black on white.
MicroMacroBat can be a very handy extention to your
batch file writing tools without having to learn a new
batch-file-writing language or performing a compilation.

" PC Musician is a program which transforms your computer
into your own private musician. It enables you to enter
music using musical notation, either from sheet music or
your own original compositions. You may then hear the
music played for you by your PC, change things around as
needed, and finally save the song to diskette when you
are satisfied. At any time in the future, PC Musician
will play the song at your command!

~contact:~ R.K. West Consulting,
PO Box 8059, Misson Hills CA 91346.
" Turn your computer into a poet! Using a 20,000-word
vocabulary, this program creates free-verse poems at the
touch of a button. Using the structure of actual poems
as models, the program randomly combines words and short
phrases into verses four to nine lines long. The results
are fascinating. Some of these poems have actually been
published in a national magazine! Advanced version has
larger vocabulary, creates poems up to 12 lines,
includes haikus, and has options for personalized poems
and printouts. Instructions included. This program has
been featured in the Los Angeles Times, Scientific
American and Writer's Digest. Hard disk required.

~contact:~ SemWare,

" QEdit is a text editor as opposed to a word processor.
QEdit can be used to write short documents or letters,
as it includes word-wrapping and paragraph-reformatting
capabilities .. Most of its features, however, are
geared toward creating or maintaining program source
code.
"
If you're looking for a classic text editor, be sure to
try Qedit. It's one of the many shareware products that
can compete head-to-head with retail programs.

first two screens also have an associated data
definition file to locate input data areas. All
attributes that are supported by direct video ram I/O
(0-255) are accessible through VINCENT.

~contact:~ Abraxas Research
PO Box 560, Fairview OR 97024-0560.
" WordQwik is a writing utility program that tells you which
of two (or more) similar words is correct. If you have
trouble remembering when to use "it's" or "its," "too" or
"to," "imply" or "infer," WordQwik is for you.
WordQwik is a breeze to use. Simply type WordQwik at the
DOS prompt or, even more useful, use your DOS shell
program from within your word processor. A menu of
confusing words will appear in the center of your screen.
You can scroll item by item or you can page up or down to
find the word(s) you are interested in. When you have
found the pair or triplet that you are interested in, type
the Insert key. You will be taken to the explanation screen,
which explains the differences between the words and uses
them in illustrative sentences.
